In the 1946 movie “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE” Jimmy Stewart plays the role of George Balley, who is always helping other and keeping the bank, the “Building and Loan” out of the hands of his arch enemy, Mr. Potter.

Through a miss-hap, George is short eight thousand dollars and runs to Potter for help. Being rebuffed, George runs and contemplates killing himself by jumping of a bridge. An angel intervenes and saves George but because of George’s dilemma George tells the angel that he wish he had never been born. Unknown to George the wish is granted and George sees a grim different plight of his family and loved ones because he was never born and he desires his life back.

Men, you have no idea of the profound affect you have on your family and friends and how your life touches so many others. Your worth is immeasurable. It’s unlikely that you would have the chance to see how the world would be had you never been born but I bet you can think of a few instances, that…had you not been there for your family or friends the circumstance could have turned out quit different.

I say to all you great men out there, you are a blessing and you are needed. And to all you fathers, have a wonderful Father’s Day.
